Summer in the Museum continues

The Museum of Yugoslavia invites you to the concert of the band Nežni Dalibor, which is the continuation of the program Summer in the Museum. The concert will be held on July 28 on the staircase in front of the Museum of Yugoslavia, beginning at 8 p.m. The entrance is free.

Nežni Dalibor, a rock band from Belgrade, belongs to a new generation of local bands that became known to the wider public by the end of last decade, and whose work relates to the cult building of BIGZ. The sound of the band is based on everything they consider vital in the rock’n’roll, from psychedelic rock of the 1960s to the contemporary independent scene. They have held a number of concerts throughout the region, including all major festivals such as EXIT, Terraneo, Taxirat, Bedem, but even further in Europe, with performances at the Glimps Festival in Belgium and the Waves Festival in Vienna. The last album was a great success with hits U slojevima, Vikendi and Prvomajska.

The Museum of Yugoslavia, in partnership with the municipality of Savski Venac, launched the project Summer in the Museum with the idea of affirming the Museum as a place for socializing and entertainment. The main goal of the project is to revitalize the plateau in front of the Museum and supplement the summer offer of Belgrade, and consequently to attract a specific target group to museum programs. In this way, the audience that visits the Museum the least will be animated, i.e. the young local audience.
