Cultivating a participatory approach, the Museum of Yugoslavia invited the audience from the region to find the Yugoslav heritage in their homes, to try their hand at curatorial work and be part of the team that realizes the virtual exhibition #YUDOM.

The project was realized during the state of emergency, declared due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the curatorial team of the Museum presented photographs of objects that belonged to the Yugoslav everyday life, and are now part of the museum collection.

The exhibition was contributed by more than a thousand participants from all over the region, from whom a selection was made and presented in this publication. The selection criteria were the quality of the photographs, the variety of materials, but also the stories that accompanied the objects.

We thank all the participants for their contribution to the research of the Yugoslav heritage.
